I know, in my heart, I just KNOW, that the powers that be have made off with our dear Noise Collector. Everyone knows there's going to be a few more 'Tea Parties' on the 4th, and I think someone strategically removed him before the day, because they know what kind of following he can generate.

In Other Words: Noise Collector, Where Are You???

UPDATE: Now I know the guys in the black helicopters have spirited NC away: The Maykers are back, a sure sign of The Apocalypse...

First my hard drive crashed on the PC after 5 years so it was time...

Then the laptop stopped powering up...

Then I took advantage of the break from the internet and went on a road trip of about 3,000 miles, to NYC and back and many points in between.

Here is the first 2 days in digital audio:

Editing the recordings, pictures and video of the entire 9 day excursion and posting soon from my new PC.

Hopefully I can recover the lost songs, samples and other stuff I did not back up.

If not, lesson learned.

Thanks to all of our fans who missed me...

Especially Mr Cueball!

to be continued.....

Yeh we missed you! That's funny, my computer was dying too, but I was able to replace and retrieve in time... and the new computer came with GarageBand. So watch out, world!!! lol

And Bob G, that was a good one abt Bohemian Grove. If only, while they were pissing on the redwoods, I could piss in the giant flaming owl during the Cremation Of Care ceremony, then there would be Balance. O_o

Thanks, glad to hear that.

I just added part 2 of the road trip:

Some loops in this one for your garageband enjoyment...

It's still being uploaded and I have to sleep.

That would be cool if sometime I made something out of one of *your* loops, since you did that one of mine... :)

Indeed, the one called KILLERseagull or similar name is especially melodic and loopable...

I will try and get the next 3 or 4 sample packs up soon.

Some great Jazz in Washington square in NYC and underwater tunnel recordings in the middle of Chesapeke Bay and ferry ride across the Deleware and games of chance on the Boardwalks...etc...

Stay tuned...

I'm keeping all of this in my mental file, oh yeah. The sad thing is, as I'm learning how to use GarageBand... there's no hum! Gawd how I will miss the godawful hum all over my compositions... ;-)

The magic is really in the tape hiss and the 60 hz hum...

I'm telling ya!!! I'm feeling really uninspired by the lack of cheese & obstacles... not to mention, without that 60hz hum, I can hear all my crappy instruments really clearly... ewww...

NC, Welcome back!
I just assumed you were off to the Bohemian Grove.
Bummer about the hard drive, mine crashed at the end of last month. The only good thing was that all my music files were on an external drive. At least they were spared.
